Musical performance at the “Bride of the Year 2009” show

On October 13, the final show of the All-Ukrainian competition “Bride of the Year 2009” took place in the hall of the Kyiv “Pharaoh” hotel, as part of the Angel Fest wedding festival. The winner of the competition was Kyiv resident Ruslana Khmara.

The annual All-Ukrainian festival Angel Fest includes a series of events connected by a single concept, taking place throughout the year. The final stages of these events are held in Kyiv. The festival has an open status, allowing anyone who meets the specific event conditions to participate.

Guests and finalists were delighted by performances from Kateryna Buzhynska, Yulia Vois, the band “7 Nebo”, and Valentyn Lysenko. The competition was judged by an esteemed jury consisting of representatives from popular media, show business, well-known wedding industry brands – Ihor Lobortas, Iryna Karpova, Inna Tsymbalyuk, Anton Mukharsky, Oleksiy Molchanov, Ruslana Moroz, Serhiy Koniushok, Steve Kotwani, Oksana Novytska, Alena Shoptenko, and others. In five competitive nominations, all finalists demonstrated good poise, charm, charisma, and decent stage presence. The contestants showcased their creativity using a wide variety of props, including guns, real exotic butterflies, and even a powerful BMW bike.

The holder of the title and the main prize of the competition – a romantic wedding trip to the SAVOY hotel in Sharm El Sheikh – was Ruslana Khmara, who scored the highest number of points. Among the other girls, Ruslana stood out by exclusively favoring Ukrainian motifs in her style throughout all stages of the competition, including the daring catwalk. The second most significant prize – an exclusive gold pendant with diamonds from the “Tree of Life” series by the classical jewelry house “Lobortas and Karpova” – was awarded to Kyiv resident Lesia Bodrova, according to the official website of the All-Ukrainian wedding festival Angel Fest.
